Students at Coit Tower in San Francisco, Summer program 2015
A little History…
Our big year was 1991. One year after congress founded the national STEM program, the University of Idaho set up what was called TRIO Upward Bound Math and Science.
Since then we have delivered a range of experiences throughout the years, from Mars geology and snow physics, to exploring the melting glaciers at Glacier National Park. Students get fully engaged with the topic, working with researchers, in laboratories, designing their own investigations and presenting their work.
